Notice! This is a camping site. You must have your own camping equipment. This campsite is located in Eeserveen, between Borger and Schoonoord, in the beautiful Drenthe countryside. The camping fields are surrounded on three sides by wooded areas. On the south side you have an unobstructed view over the fields. You can come to us to completely relax but we also offer an excellent base for cycling and walking tours or the many trips and attractions available in the area. Pets are allowed at the campsite, provided they do not cause any nuisance. We do not charge anything extra for your pet(s).
Nature and surroundings
The campsite and vacation home is located between Eeserveen and Ellertshaar in the Drenthe countryside. The campsite is located on a very quiet road used mainly by destination traffic and cycling tourists. In the immediate vicinity you will find agricultural crops and grazing cows, as well as forests and heathlands. The area is perfect for hiking, cycling and mountain biking, there is fishing water and a lake where you can swim within walking distance. You can go back in time at the Ellert and Brammert open-air museum, the museum village of Orvelte or the Hunebedcentrum in Borger. Just over half an hour away you will find the shopping centers of Emmen, Assen and Stadskanaal and the city of Groningen is also within easy reach. In short, something for everyone. About 7 kilometers away are the villages of Borger and Schoonoord where you can go for your daily shopping.
