This cozy cottage is located in the village of Doldersum in Drenthe, right on the edge of the Drents-Friese Wold nature reserve. From the house and the large enclosed garden you have a wide view over the nature meadow and woods where sheep regularly graze and the sun sets beautifully. The spacious and secluded garden of 1,100m2 is frequented by birds and squirrels who come to collect nuts and there is also a badger spotted.The bungalow is tastefully decorated with a focus on the view. It has a well-equipped kitchen with large freezer and spacious bathroom. The toilet is separate. 2 bedrooms with a 2 person Swiss Sense box spring and a sturdy Flexa bunk bed also very suitable for adults. There is also a washing machine, Nespresso coffee and filter, good wifi, board games and record player with LPs. In the garden several seating areas and a wood stove. The cottage is very secluded with lots of privacy.
Nature and surroundings
Doldersum is located in the middle of the Drents-Friese Wold in Drenthe. It is the second nature reserve of the Netherlands and wonderfully quiet. In the garden begins the nature experience with all kinds of birds if you are lucky a squirrel jumps by. The nights are dark with beautiful starry skies. From the nature house you can walk or cycle straight into the woods and onto the heath. Popular are the Aekingerzand near Apelscha, the Doldersummerveld, the Dwingelerveld in Dwingeloo and the Fochteloërveen. For cyclists there are numerous beautiful routes, rental bikes can be brought to your home and picked up again upon request. The UNESCO Colonies of Weldadigheid in Frederiksoord and the Drents Museum in Assen are easily accessible. Lookout towers like the Bosberg Tower, the Seven and the lookout tower on the Doldersummerveld worth a visit. Pick gardens, forest pools, splash ponds. Spotting animals yourself. You don't get bored easily. The cottage has many returning guests who always discover something new.
