Nature house in Schoorl

Cottage 5 is a nice cottage with all the trimmings. Smooth and good contact with the landlord. Everything present works. However, the house is in need of maintenance and makes a somewhat neglected impression. Actually everywhere you see things that could use a refresh. Mirror and floor bathroom dirty. Airfryer dirty, dishes of previous guests still in the dishwasher. Cups from previous guests in the coffee machine, dirty cutlery. We would say: give it some care and attention, the cottage and location deserve it! Response from landlord: Thanks for the feedback and nice that you liked the cottage and that you liked the location so much. We are sorry that the cleaning was not up to expectations; this is not the standard we strive for and we have addressed this immediately so that future guests will have an even better experience.

Huisje 5 is een leuk huisje met alles erop en eraan. Vlot en goed contact met de verhuurder. Alles wat aanwezig is werkt. Het huisje is echter toe aan onderhoud en maakt een wat verwaarloosde indruk. Eigenlijk overal zie je dingen die wel een opfrisbeurt kunnen gebruiken. Spiegel en vloer badkamer vies. Airfryer vies, vaat van vorige gasten nog in de vaatwasser. Cupjes van vorige gasten in het koffieapparaat, vies bestek. Wij zouden zeggen: besteed er wat zorg en aandacht aan, het huisje en de locatie verdienen dat! Reactie vanuit verhuurder: Dank voor de feedback en fijn dat jullie het huisje leuk vonden en dat de locatie zo goed is bevallen. Het spijt ons dat de schoonmaak niet aan de verwachtingen voldeed; dit is niet de standaard die wij nastreven en we hebben dit direct opgepakt, zodat toekomstige gasten een nog betere ervaring hebben.

Beautiful location, the dunes as a backyard. Everything within walking distance. The cottage is on a small, quiet park. The cottages are close together though. If all the cottages are occupied (which was not the case during our stay) this might be different.

Prachtige locatie, de duinen als achtertuin. Alles op loopafstand. Het huisje ligt op een klein, rustig parkje. De huisjes liggen wel dicht bij elkaar. Als alle huisjes bezet zijn (dat was tijdens ons verblijf niet het geval) kan dit misschien anders zijn.

Super to be able to walk straight from the cottage into the beautiful forest! Dunes, sea and beach at a nice distance, everything in terms of stores and restaurants within walking distance. The cottage is cramped, and not ideal for a frosty winter weekend (so we hope to come back in another season). Mattress of the double bed is very thin.

Super om zo vanuit het huisje het prachtige bos in te kunnen lopen! Duinen, zee en strand op mooie afstand, alles qua winkel en restaurants op loopafstand. Het huisje is wel krap, en niet ideaal voor een ijskoud winterweekend (dus hopen we in een ander seizoen nog een keer terug te komen). Matras van het 2 persoonsbed is erg dun.

A cottage beautifully situated in nature. For the 2nd time in this cottage may stay, cottage is in need of renovation. Hygiene was a bit disappointing unfortunately. much dust (poor cleaning). A check for mold in room (2-person) is advisable. For the rest a great stay had:)

Een huisje prachtig gelegen in de natuur. Voor de 2de keer in dit huisje mogen verblijven, huisje is wel toe aan renovatie. Hygiëne viel een beetje tegen helaas. veel stof (slechte schoonmaak). Een check op schimmel in kamer (2-persoons) is raadzaam. Voor de rest een prima verblijf gehad:)
