Nature house in Holten

The cottage itself is beautiful and nicely finished, also you can do nice hiking and biking in the area.

Het huisje zelf is prachtig en mooi afgewerkt, ook kun je mooi wandelen en fietsen in de omgeving.

The photo of the cottage gives a distorted view. In the photo it looks like you have much more privacy, space in the "garden" and seclusion. But it is not secluded or shielded, you sit by the path and see the reception and restaurant. All day from early morning until late at night there on the terrace of the restaurant there is loud thumping music (which also repeats all the time) that you can hear in the cottage with a window open and if you sit outside by the cottage very well. Friday night they even forgot to turn it off, so we heard thumping all night and could not sleep. This was not a pleasant experience. I imagined something different at a nature house. In the morning we could not hear birds outside, but instead loud music. There was also shouting from young people at night on the property.

De foto van het huisje geeft een vertekend beeld. Het lijkt op de foto alsof je veel meer privacy, ruimte in de 'tuin' en afzondering hebt. Maar het is niet afgelegen of afgeschermd, je zit aan het pad en ziet de receptie en restaurant. De hele dag van 's ochtends vroeg tot 's avonds laat klinkt er daar op het terras van het restaurant harde dreunmuziek (die ook steeds herhaalt) die je in het huisje hoort met een raam open en als je buiten bij het huisje zit heel goed. Vrijdagnacht waren ze het zelfs vergeten uit te zetten, waardoor we de hele nacht gedreun hebben gehoord en niet konden slapen. Dit was geen fijne ervaring. Ik had me iets anders voorgesteld bij een natuurhuisje. In de ochtend konden we geen vogels horen buiten, maar in plaats daarvan harde muziek. Ook was er geschreeuw van jongeren 's nachts op het terrein.

Fine reception, clean and beautiful cottage

Fijne ontvangst, schoon en mooi huisje

I was looking for a place to spend New Year's Eve with my dogs without fireworks. I succeeded! The cottage is in a spacious vacation park, fireworks-free and only fireworks could be heard in the distance. The cottage was neat, clean, good beds and a nice bath. The place where the cottage Oslo is located is not as big as the pictures suggest and also less sheltered. It is directly opposite the reception. For the true nature lover this may not be private enough.

Ik zocht een plek om oud en nieuw door te komen met mijn honden zonder vuurwerk. Dat is gelukt! Het huisje staat op een ruim opgezet vakantiepark, vuurwerkvrij en alleen vuurwerk te horen in de verte. Het huisje was netjes, schoon, goede bedden en een fijn bad. De plaats waarop het huisje Oslo staat is minder groot dan de foto's doen vermoeden en ook minder beschut. Het staat recht tegenover de receptie. Voor de echte natuurliefhebber is dit mogelijk niet privé genoeg.
