We are welcomed with the intense sound of birds and frogs. The cottage is completely surrounded by greenery on a beautiful pond where currently the yellow irises are blooming and the rhododendron is showing beautiful flowers. I was able to take my heart out this week and take beautiful nature photos around the pond where the Nile goose and the Canada goose have just had little ones.The cottage is fully equipped and comfortable. The decor is not entirely our taste but the bathroom is new and everything is very clean. The communication with the owner is fine and smooth. Drenthe is a province where agriculture and nature go together and have found a nice balance. The bike paths (via the junction route) are top.
