This comfortable nature house in Een, in North Drenthe, is located right on a pond. It was completely renovated in 2019 and has had a covered patio since June 2022. It features a large living room/kitchen, a romantic bedroom—both with views of the water—and a spacious, luxurious bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped. Cooking is done on ceramic stovetops. The cottage has softened water, underfloor heating, and central heating. Good insulation keeps it cool in the summer, and an air conditioner/heat pump has recently been installed for quick heating or cooling. The cottage is intended for 2 people, with a comfortable sofa in the living room that can accommodate a third person if needed. Thank you for a wonderful week in this cottage. We enjoyed the view of our little pond both from the living room and from our bed in the bedroom. And, of course, from the patio, where robins regularly stopped by, along with other little birds and even the occasional squirrel. We barely noticed the other cottages around the little pond.
All the essentials were provided in the cottage. For us, the coffee grinder, milk frother, and coffee maker were especially important. The only thing missing was Wi-Fi, but that was actually a plus for us. Cell phone reception was also minimal indoors. We were able to take some nice walks in the area and further afield in Drenthe. In short, a lovely place to unwind.Bedankt voor een heerlijke week in dit huisje. Zowel vanuit de woonkamer als vanaf ons bed in de slaapkamer genoten we van het uitzicht op ons vennetje. En ook natuurlijk vanaf het terras waar regelmatig de roodborst op bezoek kwam maar ook ander klein grut en zelfs een enkele keer een eekhoorn. Van de andere huisjes rond het vennetje hebben we amper iets gemerkt.
Alle benodigdheden waren aanwezig in het huisje. Voor ons waren de koffiemaler, melkklopper en koffieapparaat belangrijk. Alleen Wifi ontbreekt maar dat was voor ons een pluspunt. Ook de dekking voor draadloze telefoon was minimaal binnen. We hebben leuke wandelingen kunnen maken in de buurt en verderop in Drenthe.
