Nature house in Wateren (Westerveld)

A very beautiful area with plenty to do and see. The cottage is fully equipped; they’ve thought of everything. For example, there are 3 (!) high chairs, a playpen, a changing table, a baby bathtub, and a crib in almost every bedroom. Given the makeup of our group, we didn’t need these. With so many of us, we did miss having an extra bathroom. In addition, the existing bathroom was unfortunately not suitable for people with limited mobility due to the high threshold of the shower stall. As a result, one person in our group was unable to use it. In terms of layout, there’s also room for improvement. Because of where the refrigerator is located, the dining area is right up against a wall, leaving little seating space and making the passageway quite narrow. The couches are lined up in a row, so you don’t really have a cozy sitting area. But these are all things that can be adjusted. The location and surroundings are truly top-notch!

Hele mooie omgeving waar genoeg te doen en te zien is. Het huisje is zeer compleet ingericht, overal is aan gedacht. Zo zijn er 3 (!) kinderstoelen, een box, een commode, babybadje en in bijna elke slaapkamer een ledikantje. Gezien onze samenstelling was dit voor ons overbodig. Wij misten wel een extra badkamer met zoveel personen. Daarnaast was de badkamer die er was helaas niet geschikt voor minder mobiele personen vanwege de hoge instap van de douchecabine. Hierdoor kon 1 persoon van ons gezelschap hier geen gebruik van maken. Qua inrichting zouden er ook nog wat verbeteringen mogelijk zijn. Door de positie van de koelkast zit de eethoek dicht bij een muur waardoor er weinig zitruimte is en nu de doorgang krap is. De banken staan als het ware op een rij waardoor je niet echt een gezellige zithoek hebt. Maar dit zijn allerlei zaken die aangepast kunnen worden. De locatie en omgeving zijn echt top!

Very nicely designed house with lots of natural light. Lots of things to do. House is very fully equipped, but a bit noisy. We had a super time there with two families.

Heel mooi vormgegeven huis met veel daglicht. Veel te doen. Huis is zeer compleet ingericht, maar wel wat gehorig. We hadden er met twee gezinnen een super tijd.

Well cared for, simple but complete house. Very nice for our family, also very suitable for people with smaller children. Plenty to do and relax. And the funny shape of the house completes the experience.

Goed verzorgd, eenvoudig maar compleet huis. Heel fijn voor onze familie, ook zeer geschikt voor mensen met kleinere kinderen. Genoeg te doen en te ontspannen. En de grappige vorm van het huis maakt de beleving compleet.

Lovely cottage in the woods near the Drents-Friese Wold. We really enjoyed the house, the surroundings, the hot tub and the game cellar with table tennis and table soccer. Lots of privacy and at night it is really earth dark here, very special.

Heerlijk huisje in de bossen bij het Drents-Friese Wold. We hebben ontzettend genoten van het huis, de omgeving, de hot tub en de spelletjeskelder met pingpong en tafelvoetbal. Veel privacy en 's nachts is het hier echt aardedonker, heel bijzonder.
