Relax in this cottage (80m2) on the Meuse River overlooking the dike and the mill "Stella Polaris". The cottage is located in a beautiful garden where you can spot owls, pheasants, and woodpeckers.The garden is fully fenced. This is fine for the owners and fine for the dog, who can run around and sniff to his heart's content together with our 2 cocker spaniels (females). You can cook for yourself in the kitchen or eat out in the many restaurants nearby. In winter you can sit comfortably in the kitchen by the wood stove. The area is perfect for cycling and hiking. You are welcome to book this cottage with 2-3 people and up to 2 (smaller / medium) dogs. See also our B&B (cottage 58099). With family or friends you can also rent both accommodations. By the way, we guarantee your privacy. The cottages are completely separated on our property. You can not see or hear each other. The gardens are not separated. Please note this when booking with your dogs.
Nature and surroundings
What surprises us again and again is how quiet it is here. Dieden is a ribbon village along the Maas dike on the river Maas. It lies roughly between Den Bosch (37 km) and Nijmegen (24 km) at 5 KM from the A50. The Keent, De Maashorst and the Herperduin are nearby. The meandering dike, surrounded by trees, is becoming more and more popular with hikers and cyclists. You can hear birds, the wind, a braying donkey in the distance or the heaving engine of a passing ship. Our enclosed garden is an oasis of tranquility with plenty of flowers in every season. In spring, life bursts forth in the form of thousands of spring bulbs followed by the beautiful season of blossoms. Well into the fall, many dahlias bloom. Should you ask nicely, you may pick a bouquet during your stay.
