This backpacking tent is set up on our nature field and is equipped with 2 air mattresses with pillows (please bring your own sleeping bags), 2 chairs, a small table, and mood lighting. If you’re just passing through or don’t feel like setting up your own tent, come spend the night in our backpacking tent! Enjoy the peace and quiet of the nature field and build a cozy campfire at the campfire site. You’re welcome to use the small shed on the grounds, which has a refrigerator, gas stove, and dishwashing area. On the field, there’s a (dry) toilet and an outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Of course, you’re also welcome to use our restroom facility near the campground. For us, it’s all about being outdoors. Whether it’s raining, windy, or the sun is high in the sky, it’s all part of the experience. Bugs, mud, fresh air, and a campfire are all part of the adventure. Nature and surroundings
The nature campground is located in a very rural setting next to the forests of the Oostermaet estate, which offers many hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails. From the campground, you can walk, bike, or drive straight into the woods. Nearby is Deventer, known as “Koekstad” (located on the IJssel River), with its historic downtown, rich in beautiful historic buildings that you can also admire on a walking tour of the city. The Sallandse Heuvelrug National Park is 6.5 km away, where you can enjoy the beautiful landscape. There are several restaurants nestled within this landscape. I’m not really one for staying with bugs for very long. One night was enough for me. But it was as peaceful as promised, and the extras—like the kitchenette and the clean bathroom—made it more than enough for us. The interaction with the animals and even the option to order a fresh breakfast are also a plus. Since we were just passing through, we didn’t take advantage of the other amenities, such as biking options and the like.
Ik ben niet zo van de kriebelbeestjes voor langere tijd. 1 nacht was voor mij voldoende. Maar de beloofde rust was er, de extra's met het keukentje en de nette sanitair maakten het voor ons zeker voldoende. Daar wij op doorreis waren hebben we van de overige mogelijkheden geen gebruik gemaakt, zoals fietsmogelijkheden e.d.
