The stone nature house has an area of 57 m2 and consists of; a living room with kitchen, a large bedroom with double bed, a small room with bunk beds, a loft with a double mattress, a bathroom and a barn. So in total there are 6 sleeping places, but is rented to a maximum of 4 people. Everything has been renewed and painted in 2018. There is a new central heating, and towel radiator, shower wall. Throughout the cottage is light gray laminate. The kitchen has a gas stove and microwave and dishes, pans. The decor is very comfortable and cozy. The house has double glazing. Outside there is both a picnic table and a seat with 4 chairs. At the cottage there is 1 bicycle outside which is free to use. You can rent additional bikes from the manager (€6, pd). The contents of the barn are for private use, except for washing machine and high chair, broom and rake
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located in the middle of an 11-acre forest and is part of a small bungolow park. The vision of the park is: The forest must remain the forest! The cottage is located between ommen, hardenberg and dedemsvaart. Ommen is a nice tourist town on the vecht with many terraces and stores. In Dedemsvaart are the famous gardens of Mien Ruys. The area offers endless bike rides through the woods, interspersed with farmlands. Two rivers run through the area; the Vecht and the Rees. In the forest is a lake where you can swim. Also near Dedemsvaart is a natural lake and near Ommen you can swim in the Vecht. Furthermore, there are numerous swimming pools in the area. A 5-minute walk away is camping the little wolf with a store, swimming pool, swimming lake, snack bar, and numerous playgrounds, Within cycling distance is the Lemelerberg (80 meters high) with beautiful nature. In the surrounding villages there are markets on different days. Zwolle is also close by train from Ommen.
