This nature house is the front section of a renovated farmhouse in Schoonrewoerd, a village in the beautiful and peaceful countryside in the heart of the stunning Lek/Linge region in central Netherlands. With 110 m², the nature house is spacious and furnished for optimal comfort and relaxation. The ground floor features a large living room with a view of the garden and green meadows, a kitchen with a dining area for four people, a restroom, and a utility room with a washing machine. On the first floor, there is a large bedroom with a double bed (180x200), which can be converted into two single beds upon request, and there is a bathroom with cabinets, a sink, a shower, and a second toilet. The house can accommodate 2 to a maximum of six guests. In addition to a queen-size bed, the bedroom on the first floor also features a double box bed; downstairs, there is a comfortable sofa bed.

We’re located right in the heart of the Lek-Linge region; from here, you can enjoy wonderful walks and bike rides while exploring the beautiful surroundings. This garden is exclusively for Voorhuys guests; however, guests staying in our other nature house at the very back by the water do walk along a path to the front of the farmhouse. In the evening, take the bus to Utrecht, where you’ll arrive at Utrecht Central Station within half an hour to enjoy the city’s culinary and cultural offerings. In our cozy little village (600 meters away), you’ll find a bakery, a convenience store, and a Grand Café. Line 85 runs twice an hour between Utrecht and Leerdam; the Kortgerecht Blauwbijl bus stop is a 400-meter walk away.
