De Putten is a special bird reserve between Petten and Camperduin, managed by Natuurmonumenten. From the terrace and from the apartment you look out on the highest dunes in the Netherlands, which are part of the beautiful dune area near Groet and Schoorl. The wide beach at the Hondsbossche Zeewering is a short distance away and is perfect for long walks or a refreshing swim.
