Nature house in Schoonloo

Right in the heart of Drenthe, situated against the Hondsrug, lies the wooded village of Schoonloo. In this beautiful village stands this farmhouse. For 25 years the nature house has offered space and tranquility to guests from all corners of the world. The nature house is a double apartment, located in the rear part of the farm. The apartment has a cozy living/dining room with TV and an equipped kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and kettle. There is one bedroom with a double bed and a separate bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Towels, bed and kitchen linen are provided in the accommodation. The farm is located opposite an eatery and the bus stop to and from Assen-Emmen. Walking: The Pieterpad stage to and from Schoonloo starts and ends next to the accommodation. Bicycles can be stored in the bike shed. We welcome you!

From the nature house you are within minutes in the woods to enjoy cycling or hiking. There are plenty of walking and cycling routes in the immediate vicinity. Schoonloo is surrounded by nature reserves, including the state forests and several moors. The Loomeer and the Iberenplas are practically in the backyard. There are also several places of interest nearby, including Orvelte, the Ellert and Brammert open-air museum, memory center Camp Westerbork, the Drentse Boomkroonpad, the Cuby and the Blizzards Museum and the Hunebedcentrum that are worth visiting. Places like Borger, Westerbork, Schoonoord as Rolde can be reached by car in 10 minutes.
