On the edge of the Regte Heide, a beautiful nature reserve south of Tilburg, stands this nature house. The sustainably built cottage stands in the landlord's yard and is located on a cul-de-sac. The contemporary kitchen is equipped with all modern conveniences such as a refrigerator, combi-oven, induction hob and Quooker. There is a Nespresso and a quick filter coffee maker. There are 2 bedrooms, one with a 2-person box-spring bed (160 cm wide). The other bedroom has 2 single beds with slatted base and 100% natural latex mattresses. At night it is dark and quiet and you can hear an owl calling and see many stars when the sky is clear. The whistling birds wake you up in the morning. After a wonderful walk, enjoy yourself by the wood stove inside or you can light a fire outside in the fire pit in the yard. There are 2 dog walking areas nearby. Be welcome to this nature house!
Nature and surroundings
You stay in the countryside, on the edge of forest and heath. From the cottage you walk directly into the forest, the habitat of (rare) species such as bats, owls, birds of prey, polecat, ermine, weasel and stone marten. If you take a silence walk you may suddenly find yourself face to face with a roe deer. The Regte Heide with its extraordinary burial mounds from the Bronze Age is one of the rare sites of bell gentian. The stream valley formed by the Oude Leij in the west of the Regte Heide is also called Riels Laag and offers a sharp contrast to the dry heathland. A walhalla for various special flora and fauna and a paradise for birdwatchers. In the immediate vicinity are several hiking and cycling routes and various terraces and restaurants.The trendy center of Tilburg is through the house a half hour bike ride. The city offers 3 museums, unique stores in design and fashion, tasty eateries and many festivals and events.
