The Texel beach is an excellent place to get a breath of fresh air. No less than 30 kilometers of beautiful white sand await you. Each beach has its own characteristics. The nearest beach is just 5 kilometers from this nature house. On the east side of Texel is Utopia, a beautiful, inland dike bird area. Here great terns and waders breed on the shell beaches. there is much more nature to admire in the neighborhood and on our island. There are also plenty of hiking and biking trails on Texel and regular excursions through the nature reserve are organized. De Cocksdorp is the nearest village and is four kilometers from the nature house. The village is characterized by its location on both the North Sea and the Wadden Sea. In the village there are several restaurants, a supermarket, bike rental and small stores. Two kilometers from the cottage is an ice cream farm where they make their own delicious ice cream from their own milk and cream.
