Little Paradise is hidden in the forest (+/- 60 ha) on a Country Estate. The nature house was built in 1960 by the then estate owner as a country house. In the vicinity it is known as a well-kept secret. Only in winter the red tiled roof betrays that there is a cottage. You will find relaxation in simplicity in this forest cottage. The grandeur and luxury are linked to the place, the pure look, the peace, the unmatchable outdoor space and the fine energy in and around the cottage. Because of the sheltered spot, it is soon pleasant to sit outside in early spring. The amenities are simple, but complete. In the neat vintage kitchen you cook electric. There is a kettle, coffee maker and oven as well as plates, cups, etc. The cottage has internet. The main heating system is a wood stove with soapstone that retains heat for a long time. Especially in the colder months, wood should be booked in addition. Bookings up to 3 pers. possible i.o. and more price.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located on an Estate. The estate is privately owned and consists of forest, cultivated land and agriculture. The owners respect the forest as a resting area for birds and animals. One path is open to hikers. Guests of Little Paradise have much greater access. Once you arrive at the property, you may ignore the no-entry sign. You will reach the nature house by a paved winding path. The cottage is located in the middle of the rest area, which will delight nature and peace lovers. If you do want some distraction, you will find one of the oldest Hanseatic towns of Overijssel at 4 km: the town of Ommen. Here you can indulge yourself on the terrace on the beautiful banks of the Vecht. If nature makes your heart beat faster, do not forget to visit the nearby Lemeler or Besthemerberg. The mystical Reest valley is also worth a visit. However, the area around the cottage is also more than enough to indulge your heart and (re)find peace.
