The nature house is located in Schleiden, 500 meters from the city center. There are several restaurants and stores. The bus stop is 500 meters away. Hiking trails start right at the house. The routes Eifelsteig, Wildernistrail and Rur-Olef run through municipality of Schleiden. Within walking distance there is an outdoor swimming pool with sunbathing area. There is a hospital, a number of general practitioners and dentists. There is much to explore and do in the area. Visiting Aachen, Cologne, Bonn, Koblenz, Trier and Maastricht are highly recommended. All cities can be reached within an hour to just over an hour by car. Or visit the wine regions of the Ahrthal or the Moselle.
