Nature house in IJhorst

The nature house is a new, modern but cozy Tiny house. A parasol and the trees provide shade. The open kitchen is complete with induction hob, combi oven, fridge freezer and dishwasher. A Nespresso machine, kettle and egg cooker make things easy for you. The rooms are equipped with infrared heating. Through the living room you have access to the bedroom for 2 persons and on the opposite side access to the spacious bathroom with rain and hand shower. A hair dryer is waiting for you in the bathroom cabinet. In the living room there is a comfortable couch which can be converted into a bed in no time at all, so that you can stay with up to 4 persons (to be clear: there is one bedroom and one sleeping place in the living room).

Unique stream valley The Reest is the border river between Drenthe and Overijssel. Slowly flowing and meandering, the Reest carries its water from Drogteropslagen near Dedemsvaart to Meppel. The valley has a character all of its own and cannot really be compared to the other stream valleys in Drenthe. In fact, the Reest threads together country estates, heathlands, forests, stream valley grasslands and atmospheric farms, like pearls on a chain. The Reest valley is an attractive cycling area. In particular, De Havixhorst estate near De Wijk and the extensive Wildenberg-Rabbinge forest and heathland area are ideal for hikers. On the Overijssel side, the Haardennen forest and heathland area forms an attractive walking area. The visitor center De Wheem of 'Landschap Overijssel' is located in Oud-Avereest. The old farmstead 't Ende near the hamlet of De Stapel houses an information center of Het Drentse Landschap.
