T February 13, 2026 General rating:Very nice cottage, but NOT in winter! There is only one (pellet) stove to heat the whole wooden, poorly insulated house. During the period we were there it was freezing at night and the base temperature, during the day inside was 11 degrees. The stove also failed quite often. There was practically no exterior lighting, very dark. Especially if you want to walk the dog in the evening, it is nice that there is some light. Fortunately we had not booked the hot tub. That we had namely difficult to find in the dark. Great destination but not in winter! Response of the landlord: When the guest indicated that the heater was not working properly, we immediately helped and there appeared to be nothing wrong. Over the weekend we were in contact and no further action was necessary. After the rental period, we tested the stove and it worked normally. The skylight was open for a long time in cold outside temperatures, which greatly affected the inside temperature.

In de periode dat wij er waren vroor het 's nachts en was de basistemperatuur, overdag binnen 11 graden. Ook viel de kachel nogal eens uit. Er was practisch geen buitenverlichting, erg donker. Zeker als je de hond 's avonds nog wilt uitlaten is het fijn dat er wat licht is. Gelukkig hadden we de hottub er niet bijgeboekt. Die hadden we nl slecht kunnen vinden in het donker. Prima bestemming maar niet in de winter!

Toen de gast aangaf dat de kachel niet goed werkte, hebben we direct geholpen en bleek er niets mis te zijn. In het weekend hebben we nog contact gehad en verdere actie was niet nodig. Na de verhuurperiode hebben we de kachel getest en die werkte normaal.
