Our nature house is located between Annen and Eext in the Drentsche AA National Park, atop the Hondsrug, near the Hunebed Highway in a wooded area. The house is situated in a section of the barn that stands freestanding on the property. The nature house has a floor area of approximately 50 m². You enter through the small kitchenette, which is equipped with a refrigerator, a combination microwave, a coffee maker, and a kettle. Here, you can prepare a simple (sandwich) meal. The kitchen leads to the living room and the bathroom; from here, you can also take the stairs upstairs to the spacious bedroom. The bedroom features a comfortable double bed. The linens are included in the price. The terrace and the orchard are great places to relax, so you can enjoy your stay to the fullest. Due to our own pets, dogs, cats, and other animals are not allowed. The accommodation is not suitable for children aged 0 to 13.
Nature and surroundings
You can walk straight into the forest through our pasture/flower field. It’s a wonderful place for a walk. There’s a 7.5-kilometer hiking trail through the woods that takes you to some beautiful spots. You’ll come across sheep or cows on the heath, pass by the D11 dolmen, and then you can visit the Pinetum Anloo. It’s definitely worth a visit. Afterward, you can follow the trail back.
