The beautiful beach of Callantsoog is about 5 km away. Aldaar are excellent restaurants located on the beach and there is a nice center with cozy terraces and stores. In addition, a beautiful nature reserve can be found in Callantsoog. 't Zand (village located 2 km away) also offers shopping opportunities. In the vicinity are Anna Paulowna, Den Helder and Schagen worth visiting. You can also find beautiful forest and dune trails in Schoorl and Bergen, great for a walk or bike ride.
