Nature house in Mechelen

Welcome to this nature house. A hospitable place where you can still enjoy peace, nature and space. We have 8 apartments and 8 hotel rooms, some of which are located on the large residential balcony, on the west side, with a beautiful panoramic view of the Geul valley. On the second floor one enters the apartments. These are equipped with a complete open kitchen, a sitting area with TV and separate shower and toilet and everywhere, throughout the building is free wifi. In the apartment is another staircase to the bedroom ( the attic floor ) with a dormer. Our accommodation also has a large conversation room with large TV and billiards, shuffleboard, darts, foosball table and several board games. We also serve a full breakfast every morning, partly served at the table and through a large breakfast buffet. Also every evening at 6 pm we serve a 3 course daily menu. So if you want to have breakfast or dinner (during the season) it is possible.

Amidst south Limburg slope forests, hills and valleys, lies our cozy and rural accommodation called the old Hammer. Centrally located in the EUREGIO and ideal as a starting base for trips to historic cities such as Maastricht, Aachen or Liege. Experience the international allure and discover the many attractions. Or enjoy the many opportunities that southern Limburg has to offer such as spa Thermae 2000 in Valkenburg, snowworld Landgraaf or GaiaZOO in Kerkrade. From our shady garden and roof terrace one has a beautiful panoramic view over the Geul Valley and the surrounding villages of Epen and Mechelen. De oude Hamer is a hospitable place where you can still enjoy peace, nature and space, ideal for relaxing. Our location is ideal for walking or cycling through the Limburg hills. We have a closed garage with electricity for the bikes of our guests. In short, a beautiful base!
