Nature house in Schoorl

This nature house is located in a small harbor of a historic shipyard. What used to work as a ship elevator has now been converted into a unique vacation home. The owner has done his best to combine the original character, together with the comforts of our time, as well as possible. In the part of the house you reach via an external staircase, you will find the living room, kitchen and dining table. The decoration is beautiful and you have a fantastic view of the small harbor and the North Holland Canal. There is a small balcony with comfortable chairs - from here you can watch the passing boats, sailboats and cruise ships. In the former ship's cabin located next to the cottage, there is a spacious bedroom with a sink. Next to the bedroom is a small shower and a separate toilet. In front of the ship's canteen is a terrace with table and fine garden chairs. 2 bicycles are available free of charge.

You can ride electric bikes in Schoorl if you wish. Schoorl is about 6 km from the sea. Through the wide nature reserve, between Schoorl and the coast, there are numerous cycling and hiking trails. The beach at Schoorl is an oasis of calm and the ideal place to recover. You can easily reach the beaches of Groet and Camperduin by car - there is plenty of parking.Schoorl, along with the artist village of Bergen, Groet and Camperduin, is one of the most beautiful and beloved environments in Holland. Sunny terraces, weekly art and evening markets (in summer), exhibitions and numerous other festivities - and everything is small-scale. There are excellent restaurants and brown cafes with live music.The nearby forest, the dune landscape and the polder offer plenty of opportunity for beautiful walks and bike rides - a unique experience.
