Find peace and quiet in the heart of Drenthe. The nature house is a former school building, located between 2 villages in Drenthe. The tastefully decorated and spacious living quarters offer enough space for a family or a group of friends. It is also a nice house for a couple of families together to celebrate vacations. In addition to the living room, there is a play/dining area and a large conservatory. In the cozy living room there is a wood stove and a bar. On the mezzanine in the living room you can watch TV. From all rooms you can reach the private garden through garden doors. On the ground floor is one bedroom, the other bedrooms are on the upper floors. All bedrooms have a sink. Downstairs there is a (small) sauna, with showers. On the second floor is a bathroom with 3 separate showers, sink and toilet.We do not receive groups under 25 years.

You can enjoy hiking, cycling and rollerblading from the house. 2 kilometers away is the village Hooghalen, here are a supermarket, bakery (with delicious ice cream) and a snack bar. Assen is 10 minutes away and Groningen is 30 minutes by car. When the house is rented for a weekend, the check-out time on Sunday is 17.00 at the latest (this is different from the standard check-out time mentioned).

De gastvrouw is makkelijk te bereiken en fijn in de omgang. Vertrouwen is er meteen. Geen nacontrole toen we er nog waren.
Nature, peace & environment:Exactly matches the photos: beautiful arrival. Inside = a nice space for a larger group. There are 16 of us. 3 large common areas. Well laid out in terms of bedrooms. These are small but nice and all have their own sink. This building is nicely adapted to the present time (old school building). Outside = nice big garden. Seems to be really in the middle of nature. No nuisance from the immediate neighbors (both sides and also behind) Even though it is on the on a road it is not busy with traffic. We were mainly at and in the house! Muv some walks.

Binnen = een mooie ruimte voor een grotere groep. Wij zijn met 16 personen. 3 grote gemeenschappelijke ruimtes. Goed ingedeeld wat betreft slaapkamers. Deze zijn klein maar fijn en hebben allen een eigen wastafel. Dit pand is mooi aangepast naar de huidige tijd (oud schoolgebouw).
Buiten = mooie grote tuin. Lijkt echt midden in de natuur te zitten. Geen overlast van de directe buren (beide kanten en ook achter) Ook al zit het aan het aan een weg het is niet druk met verkeer.
