The many windows let in plenty of natural light, creating a modern atmosphere without compromising the farmhouse’s traditional character. This allows you to fully enjoy the natural surroundings, while the accommodation is equipped with all modern conveniences, such as a fully equipped kitchen, a shower/steam cabin, and a double infrared sauna. With a living area of approximately 100 m², this vacation home offers plenty of space for couples, families, and small groups. Outside the house, guests have access to over 200 m² of private, south-facing grounds.

With the Reichswald on the horizon, a walk in the area will take you to the once-famous Koningsven, a marshland at the foot of the Sint-Jansberg. The surrounding area offers plenty of opportunities for hiking and biking, such as a route along the banks of the Niers River, and the Looier and Gennepse heaths, the Mooker heath, and the Reichswald are all just a stone’s throw away. And don’t forget, “De Aaldonk” is located near stages 18 and 19 of the famous Pieterpad. If you enjoy water activities, there are plenty of options in the area, such as a canoe trip on the Niers, and also swimming, surfing, or sailing in and on the Mookerplas. Finally, for horse-loving guests, there are also numerous riding trails in the area between the Mookerheide, the Maasduinen, and the Reichswald.
