A stay in this loft-style built tuurhuisje with its extensive facilities guarantees the perfect getaway for everyone, from hiking or cycling vacations to city trips. In 2020, this traditional farmhouse was completely renovated using mostly recycled materials. Because of the many windows there is a lot of natural light, creating a modern atmosphere without compromising the traditional character of the farm. So you can fully enjoy the natural surroundings, while the accommodation is equipped with all conveniences, such as a fully equipped kitchen, a shower/steam cabin and a double infrared sauna. With a living area of approximately 100 m2, this vacation home offers plenty of space for couples, families and small groups. Outside the residence, guests have access to over 200 m2 of private grounds facing south.

Nature house located in the rural area of the outskirts of Ottersum. As soon as you step out the door, you can hear the birds chirping and see the insects fluttering about. With the Reichswald on the horizon, a walk in the area takes you to the once famous Koningsven; a wetland at the foot of St. John's Mountain. Nearby are numerous opportunities for hiking and biking, such as a route along the banks of the Niers River, but also the Looier and Gennepseheide, the Mookerheide and the Reichswald are just a stone's throw away. Last but not least, 'De Aaldonk' is located near stage 18 and 19 of the famous Pieterpad. Also if you love water recreation there are plenty of possibilities in the area, such as a canoe trip on the Niers, but also swimming, surfing or sailing in and on the Mookerplas. Finally, for horse-loving guests there are also numerous bridle paths in the area between the Mookerheide, the Maasduinen and the Reichswald.
