Get away from it all. Enjoy nature on the edge of the IJsselmeer. In the 2700m2 backyard of our farm, are two detached Tiny houses with a large private garden, private driveway and privacy. Layout: Living room including kitchen with combi oven, induction hob, fridge and nespresso machine. Bedroom with double box spring, luxury bathroom with underfloor heating and rain shower, wood stove and sleeping loft with a single bed. The sleeping loft is NOT suitable for elderly people, people with mobility problems and children under 7 years because of the steep stairs. Under the veranda you can enjoy the sunset and the panoramic view over the countryside and the nature (hiking) area of Opperdoes and Twisk. The wood stove provides pleasant warmth all year round. Would you like to explore the surroundings by bicycle? These are at your disposal free of charge.
Nature and surroundings
This nature house is located 2 km from the picturesque harbor town of Medemblik located on the IJsselmeer. On the edge of a nature reserve and yet in the inhabited world. Medemblik is a tourist town with a cozy shopping street, harbors, several restaurants, terraces and entertainment venues. Medemblik has many (water) sports facilities and offers many opportunities for cyclists, hikers, nature lovers, fishermen and recreationists. Along the IJsselmeer there are several walking and cycling routes. Nature reserve the Egboetswater and De Vooroever are within walking distance. Beach, swimming pool and nature playground are accessible within a radius of 5 km. The steam train Hoorn-Medemblik passes behind the house. The boat to Texel can be reached within 40 minutes by car, as well as the coastal towns on the North Sea; Callantsoog, Egmond and Schoorl. Cities such as Enkhuizen, Hoorn and Alkmaar can be reached within half an hour.
