A POD is a compact, friendly and comfortable cottage made of wood in nature. The nature house has a bathroom, kitchenette, sitting area, double bed, sofa bed and sitting outside. Located on the upper terrace of Quinta . Guests can use all the facilities available such as bar, resaurant, terrace, pool, info and participation in excursions. Wifi is available.
Nature and surroundings
Located on the northwest side of the Serra da Estrela Natural Park, central Portugal. An unspoiled landscape with many valleys and peaks. Large moraines that have been there for years. Various hiking possibilities both from the Quinta and in other parts of the park. For cyclists it can be a challenge to climb the top of 1993. The park is also easily accessible by car. On the Quinta is much information available in showcases .Beautifully situated historic (medieval) villages in the wider area are also worth. There are mines in the area that are no longer exploited but where you can find special stones and minerals. Every second Sunday of the month there is a walk to the mountain village of Folgosinho. Nice walk with a delicious lunch at the market. From May a guided walk on a plateau of 1600/1700 meters. Ask for the possibilities.
