Hiking, biking, running, mountain biking, horseback riding and/or sculpting something for everyone! Cosy lodging in nature. Sleeping next to our horses and/or your own horses. Enjoying a wide view over the meadows full of peace, space and silence. The nature house is furnished as a studio with a compact kitchen, comfortable living room. Two large single beds of Auping, incl bed linen and towels. A bathroom with sink, shower and toilet. A cozy room with good internet connection/wifi, but without TV. The nature house is located 100m from the wooded area near Ommen, at the bottom of the Besthmenerberg. Where you can enjoy a very extensive hiking- horse trail- and bicycle network. For Pieterpadlopers; our studio is located on the Pieterpad. For mountain bikers; the well-marked Lemele route starts at 1.5 kilometers from the studio.For runners; start a route of a few km to a (half) marathon from the studio.
Nature and surroundings
Ommen is located in the Vecht valley, where you can enjoy cycling, mountain biking, horseback riding or hiking along the Regge and Vecht rivers. About 10 kilometers away is the beautiful hiking area of De Lemelerberg. In the hamlets of Zeesse and Junne (about 6 kilometers) you will find the Sahara sand drifts. This area is frequently visited by tourists. Furthermore, in Junne you can visit one of the fish ladders in the Vecht. This also allows fish on a friendly way to the other side of the weir. It is possible to stable your own horses with us and have a wonderful outdoor ride. ' Mount up at home' and ride out! A sculpting workshop is also among the possibilities.
