Nature house in Swolgen

Welcome to our nature house, located on the edge of the forest with a lovely terrace—an oasis of tranquility where you can enjoy the birds, the squirrels, and beautiful trees, surrounded by lush greenery… a moment of peace and quiet. Our cottage is a real gem—a superb location, cozily furnished, and equipped with all the comforts you need. On winter evenings, you can relax by the cozy fireplace. A large portion of the garden is enclosed by a fence about 1 meter high, so dogs can roam freely. At the back is a covered patio with sliding glass doors; in front of the house is a large driveway with a security camera. Located near other cottages. Layout: an open-concept kitchen/living room. On the ground floor, there’s a shower, toilet, and a double bedroom; on the upper floor, there’s another double bedroom. (The staircase leading upstairs is steep and not suitable for people with mobility issues.) The cottage is equipped with a combination oven, a 4-burner stove, a Senseo coffee maker, a fridge-freezer, a dishwasher, and a sandwich toaster. See you soon, Warm regards, Henk and Marion.

From the cottage, you can walk right into the woods, where there are many hiking trails, heathland, streams, and roe deer. If you take the car and want to go hiking in other areas—such as the Maasduinen, the Peel, or along the Maas—you’ll find a wide variety of nature reserves, all nearby and with something for everyone. If you enjoy biking, there are plenty of bike routes that will take you to the most beautiful spots. In the spring, ride through the Maas hedgerows with the beautiful blossoms of the May trees and blackthorns. If the weather isn’t so great, maybe spend a day at a museum or go shopping in Venlo (20 km), Eindhoven, Roermond, or Nijmegen, 50 km away. You can also enjoy plenty of local products, such as Martens’ asparagus, blueberries, a beer at the Hertog Jan Brewery in Arcen, or an ice cream at Clevers. If you’re looking for other entertainment, Toverland is 14 km away, Aardbeienland and Mind Mystery are 5 km away, the village of Arcen is nearby, and the Arcen Thermal Baths are 7 km away.
