About this nature house

The naturehouse is an 18th-century barn conversion set in wonderful seclusion in the Scottish Highlands. With panoramic views towards Aviemore, it is surrounded by open fields, and next to over 250 hectares of quiet pine forests, with miles of walks straight from the door. Across the fields in the River Spey with salmon fishing, canoeing and white water

Nature and surroundings

The naturehouse is in the heart of Speyside and very close to the Cairngorms National Park where there is mountain climbing, hill walking, and beautiful scenery. In summer there are Highland Games and Pipe Bands to see. There are historic castles to visit, and the picturesque Moray Firth coastline with dolphins. The Malt Whisky Trail is in the area with many world famous distilleries nearby, some within walking distance.
