Nature house in Penha Longa

Seventeen century old manorial house with chapel and 2 acres of land on a promontory over Rio Douro. Has nearby (2,5km) pharmacy, gasoline pump, bakery and small supermarket . 5km away the city of Marco has more or less everything. High road to Oporto airport. Hired car is recommended. The house is rented by a fixed price per day from 2 to 6 guests. It belongs to the Barroco route and to the wine area of vinho verde.

River Douro and countryside are the surroundings of this historical house. Dogs or cats are welcome but there is no insurance granted. Internet has plenty of images about the Rio Douro valley. There are several companies for boat tours in this river. We are in the middle of a rural area. Black pigs are free at the farm .
