NOTE: in case of weekend rentals, the check-out time on Sunday is before 17:00h and check-IN time from 19:00h; in all other cases it is before 12:00h and from 16:00h respectively. This nature house is located on an island, the Zwanburgerpolder - explore via a gangway - where you can find all the Dutch meadow birds, including the Black-tailed Godwit. You will also find the organic cheese farm "De Eenzaamheid" there, where you can buy delicious cheese. By water you can explore the Kagerplassen by canoe, kayak and possibly motorboat. The kayak and canoe can be used at your own risk, but the motorboat can only be used/rented provided you have ample experience on inland waterways. For the use of the motorboat (steel punt with 8 hp outboard motor) we charge a fee of €35 per day, which will be deducted from the deposit afterwards. When using the motorboat, a trial run is required upon arrival, including mooring and unmooring. The petrol tank is full on arrival and must be left full on departure (petrol pump available in the parking lot).
