RICHMONUMENT and BOOMGAARD This is a collection of beautiful, well-preserved old Saxon thatched farmhouses. On the edge of this beautiful brink village is this nature house. The front house is classified as a guesthouse and has its own entrance from its own attractive terrace and is surrounded by majestic oak trees. In the beech hedge-enclosed orchard, where you can only be disturbed by the free-range chickens and friendly buzzing bees, you can completely relax on one of the lovely sun beds or in the hammock. Your car is safely parked in the yard. Your stay is based on self-catering. The beds are made, but you have to provide your own bath and kitchen linen. The front house (5 pers.) has a cozy kitchen, bathroom (shower, sink and toilet) and a cozy living room with bed box, wifi and color TV. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms. Your bicycles are housed in the restored peat shed.
Nature and surroundings
How much nature can a person have? When you leave the beautiful yard in front of the door there are three signposted walking routes. Aalden Rondomme (approx. 7 km), the Poetry Route (approx. 9 km) and The Red Thread (almost infinite, a beautiful connection through the nature reserve through country roads, surrounding villages and nature reserve of estate De Klencke. By bicycle you will encounter sign 68 of the Knooppuntenroute. Within 5 kilometers you are either in nature reserve De Mepperdennen, the state forest and sculpture garden De Hullu in Gees, or the dolmen beds at forestry North Sleen and the Kibbelkoele. Within 10 kilometers there is the Mantingerzand, or museum village Orvelte. By the way, a beautiful walk through monument village Oud Aalden and the characteristic Lesturgeonlaantje with a visit to the open garden of our neighbor garden design office Reuvers is a daily recommended round trip.
