Nature house in Vledder

The nature house is located between the Drenthe villages of Vledder and Frederiksoord near the Drents-Friese Wold and the Colonies of Weldadigheid in Fredriksoord (world heritage since summer 2021). In 2019 the cottage underwent an internal renovation and it is now available for a wonderful, quiet vacation in the nature around Vledder. You have access to a private garden of 750 m² with several terraces and there is always a place with sun or shade. Especially in the evening you have a beautiful view over the adjacent meadow with beautiful sunsets. The cottage has a spacious living room, a kitchen with induction hob and oven, two bedrooms and shower/toilet. The master bedroom has a double king-size bed plus closet and the small bedroom has a single bed that can be extended to a double. Also present: TV, Wifi, fridge-freezer, central heating and garden furniture.

Update summer 2021: the farmer has sown corn in the adjacent pasture. This means that during the summer months the view will be obstructed, around the end of September the corn will be harvested. The nature house is located on the edge of a small park overlooking the meadows. Directly from the cottage you walk or cycle in a wooded area and you are soon in the national park Drents-Friese Wold. After a somewhat firmer bike ride you are within an hour at the national parks Dwingelerveld or Weerribben-Wieden. The area around the cottage has a rich flora and fauna. Many species of birds, squirrels and deer, but also the special animals like foxes, badger and pine marten occur here. Within walking distance is the forest pool of Vledder. A little further, but still within walking distance, is the beautiful brink village of Vledder with a Coop supermarket and several other stores and restaurants.
