Just across the border near Maastricht, in the Flemish municipality of Lanaken is a vacation home that takes you back in time. The high-quality finished two-person house breathes the atmosphere of the 1950s inside and out. An atmosphere that has been carefully constructed from bottom to top. You step inside on a solid oak parquet floor and are welcomed by furnishings from the era of simplicity and tranquility. At this nature house there is a radio and record player cabinet with LPs. The secretary contains board games and the bookcase is filled with an arsenal of literature and reference books from the days of Hermans, Carmiggelt and Bomans. You put on an LP, open a book and travel to a lost time. The well-equipped kitchen and bathroom have all modern conveniences. Wi-Fi is also available.
Nature and surroundings
Through French doors you reach the spacious veranda and with just a few steps you enter the National Park Hoge Kempen with its many cycling and hiking routes. With this forest and a city like Maastricht nearby, you also have plenty of opportunities outside for a great time. Wi-Fi is also available to help you explore the area.
