Cozy bungalow in a very quiet, small-scale recreational park in the village of Wateren in Drenthe, in the heart of the Drents-Friese-Wold National Park. Like all the other bungalows in the park, this one is situated on a spacious plot of private land (nearly 1,400 m²) and therefore offers plenty of privacy. The nature house consists of a living room with an attached kitchen, two large bedrooms—one with a double bed and the other with two single beds (bunk beds)—and a small room with a crib for children or infants (up to 3 years old). There are two toilets and one bathroom; all linens (towels, dish towels, and bedding) are provided. A dishwasher, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a TV are also installed.
Nature and surroundings
The bungalow is located in the heart of the Drents-Friese Wold National Park, a nature reserve spanning more than 6,000 hectares consisting of a mix of coniferous and deciduous forests, heathland dotted with small and larger ponds, and shifting sand dunes (the Aekingerzand). Mammal species found in the area (again or still) include roe deer, badgers, martens, hares, rabbits, and wolves. The wheatear is characteristic of the Aekingerzand, and cranes nest on the vast heathlands. In short, a vast nature reserve where nature lovers will feel right at home.

my overall experience with the nature house is similar to my experience with the nature house.
mijn algemene ervaring met het natuurhuisje is gelijk aan mijn ervaring met het natuurhuisje.
Lovely cottage, everything you could possibly need is there. Beautiful and quiet surroundings. And then also a wood stove, great in the winter.
Heerlijk huisje, alles wat je maar nodig kan hebben, is er. Mooie en rustige omgeving. En dan ook nog een houtkachel, heerlijk in de winter.

Due to the environment not an insufficient. The cottage itself was cozy, but not very hygienic unfortunately. There is mold in the fridge and in the shower and we found dust webs behind the bedside tables, among others, which made it clear that it had not been properly cleaned for months.
The surroundings were wonderful. Very quiet and surrounded by beautiful nature.
De omgeving was heerlijk. Heel rustig en omgeven door prachtige natuur.

If something can be done about the smell then worth repeating
Als er iets aan de geur gedaan kan worden dan voor herhaling vatbaar
Gied cottage, unfortunately a lot of moisture air in the cottage but especially in the skaapkaner, not pleasant
