Nature and surroundings
Welcome to our nature house in Poland. Sikory is a small town situated between two lakes. For bird lovers and bird spotters, Sikory is plural for Sikora uboga (Parus palustris) and means Glossy Tit. But colloquially, all tits are "Sikory. And indeed in the wider area there are many species of tits and many bird species to "spot" and hear. Birds of prey and water birds are also widely represented. Our nature house (8ha. private land) has its own shore on the Komorze Lake (470ha) and adjacent state forest. Lake Komorze is characterized by its location among the hills, very clear water, and that it has no buildings directly on the lake.
