Our B&B is located in a former bulb shed—a unique nature house nestled in our yard. The farmhouse dates back to 1894. We completely renovated the property in May–June 2026. On the ground floor, you’ll find a pantry with a small refrigerator and a compact kitchenette. There’s a sitting area with a wood stove and a large reading/dining table. The toilet, bathroom, and sauna are also on this ground floor; on the first floor, we have a luxurious bedroom with a 180x210 bed. You can watch TV from bed, and there’s a sitting area with a lounge sofa and a luxurious armchair. There’s also a small table with a chair that can be used as a workspace or dressing table. There’s plenty of closet space for hanging and folding clothes.
Nature and surroundings
The location is quiet. On T war. A road lined with 73 trees and steeped in history. The Zomerdijk is part of the Kogge Route—a 145-kilometer route that passes through all kinds of charming towns in North Holland. The IJsselmeer is a 15-minute drive away. You can reach the beach in Hargen within half an hour. Alkmaar is 25 minutes away. Hoorn is 15 minutes away. There are beautiful bike routes in the area.
