Nature house in Sandomil

The 100 year old nature house is nestled in the edge of Sandomil, a picturesque village flanked by Alva River, and the majestic Serra de Estrela. Guests can enjoy the silence of the natural park from the house and make use of the barbecue area, cafe and swim in the river beach, while the tiny tots can enjoy the park in their own designated area. There is a master bedroom with its own seating area, another room with sofa bed, a full fledged kitchen, and a full shower room. You can enjoy the sun, while taking in the views of the mountains, river and the magnificent oak trees.

The nature house is on the banks of river Alva with its superb Fluvial Beach and crystalline waters. The rural landscape is the greatest highlight of the Serra the Estrela region, with Watermills, peaceful mountain side streets, the Roman Bridge, the previous building of the Town Hall, nowadays transformed into a Manor House, the Mother Church with its curious inclined tower, the granite São Sebastião Chapel and the one of São Baptista. The village conserves many old traditions from remote times, celebrating with passion the popular festivities, and many celebrations in community, like Christmas, New Year’s eve and day, Easter and Holy Week.
