Welcome to our nature house! Come and stay in our beautiful - former - farmhouse from the early 20th century in Castelré, in the middle of the beautiful nature reserve the Noorderkempen (right on the border with Belgium). With respect for the history of the property, but with an eye for relaxation and comfort, we have decorated the country house with a mix of modern, sturdy materials, wood and brocante. All authentic building elements have been preserved. A particularly attractive apartment in nature, equipped with all modern amenities, for max 4 people. Upon arrival you will receive a key through the door at the front of the house to enter your own apartment (80m2). From the entrance you enter your own living room with cozy fireplace and fully equipped kitchen. The bedrooms are located on the mezzanine and bgg. In short: a nice place to start your day well, to dine and to end your day by a crackling fireplace.
Nature and surroundings
The country house is located in the middle of the beautiful Noorderkempen nature reserve: a beautiful green area with many cycling and hiking trails, forests and fields. In Castelré you will find peace, space, nature and a friendly atmosphere. Within cycling distance you will find several attractive cities and villages in the Netherlands, but also directly across the border in Belgium. Special features nearby: de Wortelkolonie (within walking distance), cycling and hiking routes directly from the residence, Hoogstraten (village in Belgium) at 20 min cycling distance with a diverse range of fashion stores, terraces, restaurants, cafes and monuments, Mosten (natural swimming pool, climbing forest and water skiing at 5 km distance), outdoor and indoor swimming pool in Zundert (12 km), Van Gogh museum in Zundert, cozy places like Baarle-Nassau/Hertog (12 km), Breda & Antwerp at 30 km distance. Castelré can be reached on foot, by bike and by car. There is a bus station at 10 min. walking distance.
