This luxuriously furnished cottage is built in a country style with an industrial touch. Finished with natural reusable materials partly from the immediate area and is unique in atmosphere and appearance. The interior is equipped with every comfort. Beautiful turquoise tiles, a colored wall, French items and Poppies make it cozy inside. Located in our attractive and cozy yard, here you can soak up country life and unwind. The estate has a fruit orchard, a unique Paddock Paradise where the ponies graze, meadows lined with various wild rose hedges and you can hear many species of birds singing. In our efforts to be as nature-inclusive as possible, we have a bee and worm hotel in our yard and our chickens feast on the leftover waste. Your hostess Alexandra welcomes you with open arms.
Nature and surroundings
The three detached cottages are located directly on the walking & cycling junction routes. The beautiful surroundings of the Kempen are a good base for many beautiful excursions. The hiking trail on the Cartier Heath is highly recommended, bike through the woods to the Ninth Zaeligheyt or Herberg in the Wild Boar (dogs welcome) where it is good to stay. Within walking distance eat a farm ice cream at Koetje Kaat. In Eersel are nice stores to discover, ice cream parlors, high tea at Twins, cafes, terraces and restaurants. We were warmly welcomed by Alexandra and were able to completely unwind in the Poppy cottage. It is very nicely decorated with natural materials and vintage elements, all of high quality. The cottage is very comfortable and fully equipped. Even with a baby in winter it was nice and warm in the cottage. Alexandra was very helpful when we needed things like extra coffee cups.For breakfast we had ordered the pamper basket with yogurt treats and croissant.For dinner we cooked 2x in the cottage because it was so nice and quiet and all the necessities were there. The last evening we went to restaurant the Wild Boar which has a surprisingly fairytale inn atmosphere and delicious meat dishes.
Wij werden hartelijk ontvangen door Alexandra en konden helemaal tot rust komen in de Klaproos cottage. Het is heel leuk ingericht met natuurlijke materialen en vintage elementen, alles van hoge kwaliteit. Het huisje is heel comfortabel en van alle gemakken voorzien. Zelfs met een baby in de winter was het lekker opwarmen in het huisje. Alexandra was heel behulpzaam als we dingen nodig hadden zoals extra koffiecups.
Voor het ontbijt hadden we het verwen mandje besteld met yoghurt lekkernijen en croissantje.
Voor het avondeten hebben we 2x in het huisje gekookt omdat het zo lekker rustig was en alle benodigdheden aanwezig waren.
