This nature house is located in the middle of the dune area of Egmond-Binnen. From the cottage you can walk straight into the Noordhollands Dune Reserve. It is 2 kilometers to the beach and through the dunes you walk there in half an hour. This wooden cottage was recently completely renovated and isolated. It is spacious and fully equipped. In the bedroom there are two single beds. The kitchen is equipped with fridge freezer, oven, induction hob, Nespresso coffee machine and dishwasher, among other things. The house is heated by central heating and there is also a wood stove in the living room. There are patio doors to the fully screened garden, with a terrace on both sides of the house. So you can always find a spot in the sun or in the shade.
Nature and surroundings
The cottage is located directly on the North Holland Dune Reserve, a unique nature reserve with dunes, forests and beach. It is one of the largest nature reserves in the Netherlands. The cottage is adjacent to numerous beautiful hiking, cycling and equestrian trails. Here you can spot many birds, horses and Scottish Highlanders. There are 3 Egmond areas: Egmond aan Zee, Egmond aan de Hoef and Egmond Binnen. A short distance away are: Alkmaar (12 km.) including the famous cheese market and its cozy center, Bergen (11 km.) with its art galleries and art markets and Schoorl (20 km.) with its climbing dune. Amsterdam is about 40 kilometers away.
