Nature house in Reeuwijk

A completely renovated (2019/20) characteristic and very attractive wooden vacation home (approx. 55 m²) located directly on the Elfhoevenplas. The nature house is detached, isolated and comfortably furnished (dishwasher, oven, air conditioning, wifi, electr. atmospheric fireplace) with a fine kitchen and bathroom. The extra long beds (210 cm) are made. The spacious private garden facing south and west offers sun and shade, 2 spacious terraces with dining and relaxing furniture and on the jetty you sit first row to the water where you can swim. Guests can use the surfboard (without sail), outdoor fireplace, 3p. canoe and barbecue. The cottage is quietly situated in the lake area and at the Goudse Hout with plenty of walking and cycling opportunities. Supermarkets and shopping center at 1.3 km and approx. 2 km. Private parking (1-2 cars) is available. Per stay, kitchen towels (1 set) and towels (2 p.p.) are included. The cottage is less suitable for very small children i.v.m. open water.

In the middle of the Green Heart you will find the Reeuwijkse Plassen: 13 connected lakes between Gouda and Reeuwijk, separated by narrow roads. In this typically Dutch peat bog area you will find wooded paths, narrow trails, reed beds and characteristic (sometimes manually operated) swing and lift bridges. The combination of puddles, meadows and forests provides a very rich flora and fauna in the immediate vicinity of this nature cottage. There are beautiful longer walks and bike rides possible, such as; along the river Vlist to silver city Schoonhoven, along the Hollandsche IJssel to "witch town" Oudewater and along the Meije to Nieuwkoop(se Plassen). There are also plenty of possibilities towards Rotterdam and The Hague. For culture and city visits, the cozy old town of Gouda (fifteen minutes by bike) is a must and the cities of The Hague, Rotterdam and Utrecht are within 30 km. Station Gouda Goverwelle is about 15 minutes walk and by train you are in 1 hour in the heart of Amsterdam.
