Welcome to the farm campsite in De Krim, the KOELe lodge is fully equipped, a Cow(le) couch, a bed of straw, with a fine meadow (terrace) outside. In season we offer local products such as jam/nuts/honey/ice cream and (recycled) meat. Nothing has to, everything is possible, with us enjoy life is central! You and / or your (grand) children will have a great time on the farm animal or visit a museum or estate in the area. Walk the field path that runs across the campsite or cycle a junction route from the campsite. Your nature house is located on the edge of the park-like farm campsite. (Nominated by the ANWB as best small campsite 2023 and 2024 also nominated for the sustainability award 2023)
Nature and surroundings
Right next to the campground is a small forest with a lake, which is excellent for an evening walk and sunset. You may see a pack of deer at dusk. There are 2 walking routes and 6 junction bicycle routes available from the campsite. The Vechtdal Overijssel and the Reestdal are excellent walking and cycling areas. Space to enjoy: When the sun rises and the mist slowly disappears from the meadows, the farmers in the municipality of Hardenberg are already hard at work on the land, in the fields and in the stables. They are busy producing the most delicious regional products and what is at least as much fun: in between all the work they are happy to show you and taste all the delicious things the Vecht valley has to offer.
