Thanks to its location between the Baltic Sea and the Sternberg lake district, the farm is an ideal starting point for cycling and hiking tours, but also for excursions to the nature-protected island of Poel or to the historic Hanseatic cities of Rostock, Wismar and Lübeck. The Baltic seaside resort of Warnemünde and the state capital Schwerin (UNESCO World Heritage Site) can be reached in 40 minutes.
