Nature house in Kalenberg

Spacious house for the five of us with all the trimmings. Good kitchen. Nice beds.

Ruim huis voor ons vijfen met alles er op en eraan. Goede keuken. Lekkere bedden.

A lovely quiet place with only nature around you. Delightful!

Een heerlijk rustige plek met alleen maar de natuur om je heen. Heerlijk!

Spacious house with plenty of sleeping space. Kitchen a little old-fashioned, with some unnecessary old junk in the drawers, and some pans not entirely clean. But again, a very nice shower! Nice hard jet and quite hot water. Also nice that there were screens in the bedroom windows ... We have rowed, there is everything available in that area! The living room has many windows so you can overlook the whole garden. In the room is a closet with all the crockery and cutlery ... ff get used to because when preparing food in the kitchen, you have to walk to the room for each bowl or knife. But everything gets used haha. Nice little wood stove in the room.The house is fairly close to that of the neighbors, so there are limits to your noise level.The house plus the many barns are well equipped, from bikes to boats and boots to soccer balls.In short quite a nice experience!

Ruim huis met veel slaapgelegenheid. Keuken een beetje ouderwets, met wat onnodige oude rommeltjes in de lades, en sommige pannen niet geheel proper.
Maar wel weer een hele fijne douche! Lekkere harde straal en flink heet water. Ook fijn dat er horren waren in de slaapkamer ramen…
We hebben geroeid, er is van alles available op dat gebied!
De woonkamer heeft veel ramen waardoor je de hele tuin kan overzien.
In de kamer is een kast met al het servies en bestek… ff wennen want tijdens het eten klaarmaken in de keuken, moet je voor elk kommetje of mesje naar de kamer lopen. Maar alles went haha. Leuke kleine houtkachel in de kamer.
Het huis staat redelijk dicht tegen dat van de buren aan, dus er zitten limieten aan je geluidsniveau.

Het huis plus de vele schuren zijn goed geoutilleerd, van fietsen tot boten en van laarzen tot voetballen.
Kortom best een fijne ervaring!

Beautiful view from the house over very large garden and behind it the reed beds. Dead quiet, with lots of birds in the garden.

Prachtig uitzicht vanuit het huis over hele grote tuin en daarachter de rietlanden. Doodstil, met veel vogels in de tuin.

What a wonderful place! The house is comfortable and very complete. Fine beds, great garden, excellent kitchen with all the necessities (including toaster, coffee maker etc), cozy living room with large table: ideal for dining and games. We were there in late December, no weather for boating with the ice on the water. But made a nice bike ride and walked. Ideal that there are (fine) bikes. Communication with owner is easy, quick and friendly. We would love to come back in a warmer season. Highly recommended!

Wat een heerlijke plek! Het huis is comfortabel en heel compleet. Fijne bedden, geweldige tuin, prima keuken met alle benodigdheden (inclusief broodrooster, koffiezetapparaat etc), gezellige woonkamer met grote tafel: ideaal voor het eten en spelletjes. We waren er eind december, geen weer om te varen met het ijs op het water. Maar wel een mooie fietstocht gemaakt en gewandeld. Ideaal dat er (prima) fietsen zijn. Communicatie met eigenaar is gemakkelijk, snel en vriendelijk. We komen graag eens terug in een warmer seizoen. Een echte aanrader!
