Nature house in SELLIA

The house stands alone in an elevated position with a mountain ridge in the background. The passing road above the house is not disturbing at all. Cars cannot be heard from the house. The house itself is a semi-detached house. The landlord lives next door and is extremely friendly, reserved, helpful and funny. The furnishings and equipment of the house are tasteful and functional. There is even a bed for sleeping outside.

Das Haus liegt allein an erhabener Position mit einem Bergrücken im Hintergrund. Die vorbeilaufende Straße oberhalb des Hauses stört überhaupt nicht. Autos sind am Haus nicht zu hören. Das Haus selbst ist ein Doppelhaus. Der Vermieter wohnt nebenan und ist ausgesorochen freundlich, zurückhaltend, hilfsbereit und witzig. Die Einrichtung und Ausstattung des Hauses ist geschmackvoll und funktional. Es gibt sogar ein Bett, um draußen zu schlafen.

Magnificent views of the sea, nestled in the mountains. You have to know that it can be very windy on Crete. That's part of the nature there and we really liked it. The mountains let the wind do the talking. You don't really find "peace and quiet" there. But it is a wonderful experience to be so close to nature there

Grandiose Aussicht auf das Meer, eingebettet in die Berge. Man muss wissen, dass es auf Kreta sehr windig sein kann. Das ist Teil der Natur dort und uns hat das sehr gut gefallen. Die Berge lassen den Wind sprechen. "Ruhe" findet man daher dort eher nicht. Aber es ist ein wunderbares Erlebnis, der Natur dort so nahe sein zu können

A beautiful setting on one of the most beautiful coasts Crete has. Waking up to the song of the blue rock thrush and going to sleep to the call of the dwarf owl. Having breakfast in a painting and being invited to scavenge among the flowering fennel, thyme and sage. David is a caring and very sweet host. Listen carefully to his tips. He knows best where to find the most beautiful places to enjoy (passive or active). Our sons were very fond of him. We are very grateful to him.

Een schitterende omgeving aan één van de mooiste kusten die Kreta rijk is. Wakker worden met de zang van de blauwe rotslijster en slapengaan met de roep van de dwergooruil. Ontbijten in een schilderij en uitgenodigd worden om tussen de bloeiende venkel, tijm en salie op speurtocht te gaan. David is een zorgzame en hele lieve gastheer. Luister goed naar zijn tips. Hij weet als de beste waar je de mooiste plekjes vindt om te genieten (passief of actief). Onze zonen waren erg op hem gesteld. We zijn hem heel dankbaar.

The house is very pleasant to live in and extremely well equipped. The hosts, David and Anna Maria, are remarkably kind and take great care of their guests. We had a wonderful time.
