Nature house in de Lutte

It’s a really nice and cozy little cottage in a beautiful location. Everything was nice and clean, and it smelled fresh. The comfortable bed was already made, and the bedding smelled wonderfully fresh, too.

A couple of minor issues were that the wood stove didn’t work. We did know this a few days in advance, though, from an email exchange. Fortunately, the electric heater worked, so the living room and kitchen were well heated.

Unfortunately, the heating in the bathroom wasn’t working, so the bathroom remained very damp. The sink in the bathroom was also clogged.

But all in all, we had a lovely mini-vacation. We usually only stay at a cottage once, but we’d definitely like to come back here again.

Het is een heel leuk en gezellig ingericht huisje op een prachtige plek. Ook was alles lekker schoon en rook het er fris. Het heerlijk liggende bed was al opgemaakt en het beddengoed rook ook heerlijk fris.

Een paar minpuntjes zijn dat de houtkachel het niet deed. Dit wisten we overigens wel een paar dagen van te voren tijdens een mailwisseling. De elektrische verwarming deed het gelukkig wel waardoor de woonkamer en keuken goed werd verwarmd.

Helaas deed de verwarming in de badkamer het niet waardoor de badkamer erg vochtig bleef. Ook was de wastafel verstopt in de badkamer.

Maar al met al hebben we een fijne mini vakantie gehad. Meestal verblijven wij maar één keer in een huisje maar hier willen wij nog wel een keertje terug komen.

The nature house is located in a beautiful and peaceful setting in the middle of the forest. We enjoyed wonderful walks there with the dog, and every day we saw squirrels running around in the garden.

Het natuurhuisje staat in een prachtige en rustige omgeving midden in het bos. Wij hebben er heerlijk gewandeld met de hond en elke dag zagen we eekhoorntjes rondlopen in de tuin.

The vacation home is beautifully situated in the woods and has nice outdoor seating. The furnishings are rather sparse compared to other vacation homes, but acceptable for the price. The bedroom and bathroom have no heating. There is a heater hanging from the bathroom ceiling, but it hums so loudly that you can hear it throughout the entire house and it wakes everyone up. There is mold on the bathroom ceiling. The stove was broken and couldn’t be used, which we didn’t find out until the day we arrived. The kitchen sink drain was clogged. The fact that a plunger and a bucket were already waiting under the sink suggests that the problem is well known. We ended up needing both. The bed is too short for people over 1.80 m and creaks with every movement. All information in the house is available only in Dutch. Additionally, the house rules on the booking page are incomplete.

Thank you for your review; we take the issues you raised seriously. Unfortunately, your review does not mention that we withheld the security deposit because the bed was completely covered in dog hair, even though our house rules explicitly prohibit dogs in the bedrooms. We regret that this situation may have influenced your review.

Das Ferienhaus liegt schön im Wald und hat draußen gute Sitzmöglichkeiten. Die Einrichtung ist im Vergleich zu anderen Ferienhäusern eher spärlich, für den Preis aber in Ordnung. Schlafzimmer und Badezimmer haben keine Heizung. Im Bad hängt zwar ein Heizgerät an der Decke, das aber so laut brummt, dass man es im ganzen Haus hört und alle davon aufwachen. An der Badezimmerdecke ist Schimmel. Der Ofen war defekt und durfte nicht benutzt werden, was wir erst am Anreisetag erfahren haben. Der Abfluss der Küchenspüle war verstopft. Dass unter der Spüle bereits Saugglocke und Eimer bereitstehen, lässt vermuten, dass das Problem bekannt ist. Wir haben beides auch gebraucht. Das Bett ist für Personen über 1,80 m zu kurz und quietscht bei jeder Bewegung. Sämtliche Informationen im Haus gibt es nur auf Niederländisch. Außerdem ist die Hausordnung auf der Buchungsseite unvollständig.

Bedankt voor uw beoordeling; de genoemde aandachtspunten nemen wij serieus. Helaas ontbreekt in uw recensie dat wij de borg hebben ingehouden omdat het bed volledig onder de hondenharen zat, terwijl onze huisregels honden in de slaapkamers uitdrukkelijk verbieden. Wij vinden het jammer dat deze situatie uw beoordeling mogelijk heeft beïnvloed

The surroundings are really beautiful, and the location is very well connected. You're right in the woods and can explore the area. However, it's definitely out in the boonies—it usually takes about 15 minutes to drive to the nearest town. Still, the nature and scenery are breathtakingly beautiful!

Die Umgebung ist wirklich sehr schön und ganz toll angebunden. Man ist direkt im Wald und kann die Gegend erkunden. Es liegt jedoch eindeutig außerhalb - man fährt meistens um die 15 Minuten, bis man einen Ort erreicht. Natur und Landschaft sind jedoch atemberaubend schön!
