Cozy, detached former farmhouse near Monschau amidst the rugged nature of Nature Park the High Fens, the lovely Eifel and the Ardennes. Ideal for nature lovers, hikers, cyclists and gravel bikers and mountain bikers. But also for those who want to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The house is very suitable to stay there alone or in pairs. If you come with more people, you can add up to three additional bedrooms and a 2nd bathroom. The large bright kitchen gives a nice view of the meadows behind the house and from the cozy living room you look towards the hills and the Ruhr Valley. In one bedroom is a twin bed (180x210), in the other respectively two single beds, a twin bed (180x200) and a crib. The large sunny garden has several seating areas. Living, cooking and sleeping are on the 1st floor, the 2nd bathroom is downstairs. You can do plenty of walking and cycling directly from the house.

Nature Park The High Fens is a high moor unique to Western Europe, with its own climate and special fauna and flora. Every season is special here. In early spring there are the fields with millions of wild daffodils, in summer wild flowers, in autumn the beautiful colors along the peat streams and in winter often lots of snow falls. You can hike right from home and in the immediate vicinity you will find a multitude of hiking possibilities. Steep rocky paths, quiet among the meadows, or on the wooden boardwalks through the Fens. It an excellent environment for cycling, a paradise for mountain and gravel bikers. Because bike paths have been built on former railroads, it is fantastic cycling even for less sporty cyclists. The Vennbahn (cycling path Aachen-Troisvierges) runs one kilometer from this nature house, good for many kilometers of car-free and almost flat cycling through the special nature of eastern Belgium and the Eifel.
