Completely off the grid,we generate our own power with solar panels and a windturbine.The lodge is set up high overloking the beautiful Kaipara Harbour.We are self sufficient and use no chemicals in the lodge or on the land.The place is very cosy,light filled warm and set on farmland in a quiet part of the countryside just north of Auckland city.
Nature and surroundings
Set on a small block which we farm the place is completely separate from our own house and is private.Surrounded by pine trees,native bush and wide views of the sea.Gorgeous sunsets are often viewed and the place is very peaceful and a retreat from the city
