In beautiful Drenthe we rent a nice chalet with private entrance and terrace. This lends itself perfectly for 1 weekend or vacation enjoying peace and nature. The cottage has a bedroom with a double bed; a bedroom with two single beds, a living / dining room with a wood stove. There is also a bathroom with shower and toilet. There is a TV, radio, refrigerator, coffee maker and kettle. There is also free wifi available. You can stay outside on the terrace. Dogs are welcome, but please be leashed on the premises. We can offer horses a place in the meadow - paddock and stable in consultation. The price for a horse €15 per night including hay and straw. If you want to bring a horse you need to check the option 'Other costs' when booking. We are recently all present animals no petting zoo - the chalet is located in our own yard and does not lend itself to small children - only in consultation.

Nature, peace & environment:Deafening silence at night. Awesome!!! The cottage has everything you need and a fantastic bed! The owners Hilka and Mervyn are very welcoming and concerned about their animals. There are 2 donkeys, a horse of the neighbors who regularly graze in the adjacent meadow. Next to the chalet is the goat enclosure, very quiet animals. Unfortunately the oldest one died during my stay, very sad for Hilka and Mervyn. The animal was old and sick and nature has let her go. Kala the white Pyrenean mountain dog lives in the house with owner and wife. There will be plenty to do in the neighborhood, but I came for the tranquility and I had it! Oorverdovende stilte ‘s nachts. Geweldig! Het huisje heeft alles wat je nodig hebt en een fantastisch bed! De eigenaren Hilka en Mervyn zijn zeer gastvrij en begaan met hun dieren. Er lopen 2 ezels, een paard van de buren die regelmatig in de naastgelegen wei lopen te grazen. Naast het chalet is het geitenverblijf, zeer rustige dieren. Helaas is de oudste tijdens mijn verblijf overleden, zeer verdrietig voor Hilka en Mervyn. Het diertje was oud en ziek en de natuur heeft haar laten gaan.
Kala de witte Pyrenese berghond leeft met baasje en vrouwtje in huis.
Er zal van alles te doen zijn in de buurt, maar ik kwam voor de rust en die heb ik gehad!
